Jennifer called us out to inspect an old gas heater that was no longer working properly. On testing, we found the fan had failed, and given that the unit was almost 40 years old, replacement parts were no longer viable to fix. Continuing with gas would not have been a practical or efficient option, so we recommended upgrading to a modern reverse cycle air conditioning system.

The Solution

We supplied and installed a 7.1kW LG High Wall Split System, giving the customer reliable heating and cooling all year round. The installation included:

• Installation of Indoor and outdoor units
• Refrigeration-grade copper piping and interconnect cables
• Weatherproof capping to neatly cover pipework
• A new dedicated electrical supply with RCBO protection in the switchboard
• Testing, commissioning, and refrigerant charging to manufacturer specifications
• Removal of the old unit and a full site clean-up
